Kohot is a dynamic recruitment platform developed by Professional Beauty India to connect talent with employers in the beauty and wellness industry. It addresses a persistent recruitment challenge: the gap between job seekers and salons, spas, and wellness businesses. Kohot's AI-powered matchmaking platform allows candidates—ranging from beauticians and hairdressers to salon managers and educators—to build rich profiles using text, audio, and video content. Employers, in turn, can find qualified, location-appropriate candidates quickly, streamlining hiring processes and raising industry standards. We were tasked with designing the brand identity for Kohot, ensuring it resonated with its promise of connection and ease. The visual direction centers around a wordmark that artfully combines two interlocking circles in the "O"s of the name. This motif symbolizes the seamless 'perfect fit' between job seekers and employers—highlighting the platform's core mission of connecting talent with opportunity in an intuitive, human-centric way.
The typography is clean, modern, and sans-serif, reflecting the platform's user-friendly and efficient experience. Beyond the wordmark, we developed custom graphic patterns and supporting brand elements—all working in harmony to create a consistent, cohesive visual language across digital platforms, marketing, and promotional materials. As a standout solution in the beauty industry's tech landscape, Kohot's identity captures its unique role as a matchmaking hub.
