The Ascendas Firstspace platform is a joint venture between Ascendas, a member of CapitaLand Limited, and Firstspace Realty, an Indian partner with rich experience in industrial real estate in India. We worked with the communications team to create a comprehensive identity guidelines to create synergy between all their corporate and marketing programs.
We began by expanding the central brand logo into distinct sub-identities for each park, giving them unique visual personalities while maintaining alignment with the overarching brand. A consistent typography system and color palette were defined to standardize how all brand extensions—whether digital, print, or environmental—would look and feel. To support the brand's communication needs, we developed a standardized approach for park and corporate messaging. Complex details such as site specifications, location data, and service hierarchies were visualized as infographics, maps, and interactive diagrams to make them more digestible and engaging for a wide audience. We also designed and launched a corporate website to act as the primary marketing platform. The site functions as both a portal for visitors and an information hub for potential stakeholders and planners, ensuring that digital users experience the same brand logic as those on-site. A comprehensive signage and wayfinding system was created to bring the brand identity into the physical environment. Every park entry, trail marker, facility sign, and directional board was designed under the same visual rules—scale, color, typography, iconography—so that visitors always feel oriented and connected to the larger brand. This holistic identity system ensures that whether someone is viewing a map, checking a brochure, visiting a park, or browsing online, the brand remains coherent, legible, and emotionally compelling. The scalable framework allows new parks to be added in future without diluting visual integrity or user experience.
